This didn’t work out for my daughter in law due to the fit in her shoulders. It definitely could be worn as a dress though. This is such a cute blazer. The material is soft and it has a nice stretch that makes it comfortable to wear. It is a little too oversized for my frame so I did return it. If it came in an XS it would fit me perfect! Im 5'11 130lbs
